Let me take you back a bit maybe you don’t understand what I am talking about earlier pairing by the UFC. It says that Conor McGregor was about to challenge the UFC rafael Dos Anjos, who pulled out due to his broken leg that was just 11 days after the announcement of the two having a fight. This lead to the pairing of him with Diaz.

The anxiously awaited rematch between UFC superstars Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz has been officially announced. Originally scheduled for UFC 200 fight card which will be on the 9th of July, 2016, the fight now has a new date: August 20, 2016, taking place in the city of Las Vegas. Conor Anthony McGregor (full name) was born on the 14th of July, 1988, in Dublin, the capital of Ireland. While still a child, he started kickboxing, later becoming an All-Ireland champion at youth level boxing. However, it was only when he met UFC fighter Tom Egan, that his passion for MMA started; Tom trained McGregor in how to grapple. During his entire career in the UFC, he competed in the featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight classes. Well known for his lavish lifestyle and trash talk, McGregor is a striker and always tries to be the aggressor during the fights. Last year, in 2015, he became the first ever Irish champion in the UFC, defeating Brazilian fighter Jose Aldo at the beginning of the first round in the UFC 194 with a knockout in the first 13 seconds, becoming the fastest victory ever in the history of UFC title fight.

Nate Diaz
Nathan Donald Diaz, & Nate Diaz was born on the 16th of April, 1985, in Stockton, California. While in high school, a 14-year-old Nate began training MMA with his older brother Nick Diaz. Also with his brother, both own and run together a Brazilian jiu-jitsu school in the Californian city of Lodi. The two brothers are advocates for cannabis. Previously before UFC, Diaz also competed in World Extreme Cagefighting, Strikeforce and Pancrase. HAving started in the lightweight category in 2004, he is currently in the welterweight category. After his last fight with WEC in 2006, WEC was then acquired by Zuffa, which is the parent company of Ultimate Fighting Championship, subsequently leading Nate into a brand new career with UFC. some of his accomplishments include a one time Performance of the Night vs Conor McGregor, and KNockout of the Night vs Gray Maynard.

UFC 202 Tickets

Ticket sales for the UFC 202 on the website of the T-Mobile Arena itself will commence on the 15th of July, 2016. Many websites however, have already anticipated the pre-sales, including VIP, Elite Plus, and Superfan ticket packages to buy. At the Arena, there are approximately 256 sections in which to buy tickets, not including the floor sections which are the closest ones to the main stage. Some of the floor sections are wheelchair accessible. And each section is alphabetically categorized, with rows classified from A to Z. the Prices are ranging from $633 (US Dollars) to $3900. However, the prices are for each ticket, and certain sites are offering to sell multiple quantities of tickets within the packages that the buyer may choose. The average ticket price is placed at $850. Some sites even claim that certain seating sections/tickets have already “sold out”. On some of them, they will be delivered on behalf of partner E-Tickets, with an estimated ticket delivery date of August 16, 2016.

The issue of the rescheduling of the match between McGregor vs Diaz: Apparently McGregor was having issue with Diaz being at the weight of 170, and this was the cause of the change of challenger for the fight. As McGregor himself told the ESPN in his version, he was contesting himself whether he would be able to compete with Diaz since he was at the weight of 170, saying the correct thing to do would be adjusting his weight beforehand, wanting 155 lbs. Therefore, after this hold out, the president of UFC, Dana White, pulled the fight and replaced it with Jon Jones vs Daniel Cormier. McGregor had been after all preparing himself for a potential rematch long before the official announcement was made, extensively working out at the gym to gain as much muscle as he could.
